Goss is to build an extra-wide Goss Sunday 3000 press with a 1905 mm web for US-based Brown Printing Company.
The 32-page press will be capable of producing magazine formats up to 228 mm wide, a first for a single-circumference press.
Brown bought the last Sunday 3000 press installed in the US in 2008, and has a reputation for finding technological solutions to create product opportunities.
"They have been a longstanding leader in bringing the advantages of the latest high-speed, wide-web technology to its catalogue and publication customers," Goss International president and chief executive Jochen Meissner says. "We are grateful for this opportunity to extend our relationship and work with their team on another groundbreaking project."
Installation at the Waseca, Minnesota, facility will is expected to be completed by July 2011.
Founded in 1957, and part of the Bertelsmann/Gruner + Jahr group, Brown prints more than 900 titles for over 450 customers.
